This time you will have the chance to thoroughly explore behind the scenes!
In one week, the Flora, Fauna and Cultural Quest tour will deliver you an insight of Corfiot natural and cultural scenery that hasn’t been offered before. 
We will venture out to understand the importance of herbs and remedies in local people's life, to explore unique ecosystems where thousands of migratory birds are passing every year and identify the animals that surround us. We will meet and hear stories from local fishermen and visit places to hear about activities of high cultural importance to local history such as monastic life and olive making.

Joining the Tour - Essential Information

Essential Information

Please, do not book your flight arrangements until you have received a Guarantee to Go email, which will be delivered no later than 60 days prior the start of the tour.


The joining place is at the Pension Gerasimos in Marathias in the south-west of Kerkyra, where we will be shown to our rooms/apartments/studios.


Please inform us via email on the details of your arrival in Greece (airline, flight number, time of arrival). There is a high possibility to provide one free of charge group transfer from the airport/Corfu town to the joining place depending on times of arrival and numbers of participants.

Corfu airport is the most convenient place to arrive.

Accommodation

4 nights in apartments/studios in Marathias

At Marathias our accommodations will be at various rooms/apartments close to the coast. 


3 nights in apartments/studios in Agios Georgios of Pagoi

Belle Helene hotel* has quality rooms, excellent service and is located just few meters from the sea front.


There is a limited Single Supplement option, at the extra cost of £200

*Our aim is to be accommodated by Belle Helene hotel. Please note that due the popularity of the area, although unlikely, we might use other apartments/studios close by.


Meals

Lunch on Day 5 is included. 

The rest of the lunches are not included (picnics or taverns stops, depending on route/weather).


2 Dinners at a local tavern and 1 buffet dinner are included. The rest of dinners are not included.

Free of charge transfers from/to airport are subject to the number of people and

times of arrival/departure. The actual time depends on the transfer requests we will

receive by email.
