Essential Information

Please, do not book your flight arrangements until you have received a Guarantee to Go email, which will be delivered no later than 60 days prior the start of the tour.

The joining place is at Nikolas Guesthouse at Koukouli village in Zagorochoria.

Please inform us via email on the details of your arrival in Greece (airline, flight number, time of arrival).

Corfu airport is the most convenient place to arrive.

Thessaloniki or Preveza airport are other alternatives. 

There is a high possibility to provide a free of charge group transfer from/to Corfu town passing via a second pick up point at Ioannina town. This depends on arrival times and location of the participants.

6 nights at a traditional stone guesthouse

View Nikolas Guesthouse which will accommodate us in the heart of Zagoria. 

There is a limited Single Supplement option with extra cost of £180.

1 night at the Astraka - Tymfi Mountain Hut at 1950m. of altitude

Mountain hut offers mixed standard bunk rooms for sleeping and has a simple menu from where we can order dinner and breakfast.

6 Breakfasts are included

At the Mountain Hut, the reakfast is not included  but is available on site at extra cost

Lunches will be picnics, or tavern stops depending on the route each day and the weather. Lunches are not included

3 locally produced dinners are included.

All the rest of the evening meals will be at local taverns. Those dinners are not included

Private transfer by mini bus

Raft (optional/not included)

All transfers, as mentioned in the itinerary, are included. 

Free of charge transfers may be available from/to Corfu town airport and a second pick up point at Ioannina main bus station. This depends on the arrival times and locations of the participants

Trekking Terrain: The terrain we will meet on the tour is generally on rough footpaths, cobbled mule paths, dirt and gravel tracks and minor roads. The highest point reached is 2050m. 

If you don't feel up to any day's walk, you can always relax at the accommodation.
